You can now log on towww.mealpayplus.com and check your child's Breakfast/Lunch Account balance for free!!!  Also, if you would like to add money to your child's account using the website, you may do so, but please know there is a 4.75% fee for doing so.  However, checking the balance is always FREE.  In order to do either of these, you will need to know your child's 7-digit ID code.  To obtain this number, please call 1-877-237-0946.

Announcing our new School-Wide PBIS Program (Positive Behavior Intervention Support).  Ask your child about the ticket system.  We are all so excited about the opportunity to spotlight the great behaviors our students demonstrate each day.

What a wonderful beginning to our 2010-2011 School Year!  We send a huge thank you to our parents for being so supportive and positive and to our students for doing such a great job settling in to school.

For children to register for K for the 2010-2011 school year they must be 5 by September 30th.  In order to register a child you will need to bring the following paperwork:

1.      A certified copy of the birth certificate.  A mother’s copy will NOT be accepted.

2.      A proof of residence such as a utility bill receipt, etc.

3.      Proof of immunizations.  You will NOT need to bring the current immunization certificate.  You will need to have your child’s medical provider or health department fill out the NEW immunization certificate and bring that certificate to school with you.  If you do not have the proper paperwork, your child will not be allowed to register until the paperwork is complete.

We will not be able to accept Out-of-Zone requests.  For students to attend PGE, they must be in our attendance zone.   If you have any questions about this  please feel free to call us at 323-7638 .

Also, we want to thank the American Red Cross, the Garrison Service Corporation, and Dr. Gary Cohen & Staff in Hendersonville for the wonderful donation of an AED for our school!  What an addition to our peace of mind!

 *** Congratulations to our Custodial Staff for scoring a PERFECT 100 on a recent inspection of our school!  What an honor to have such devoted staff taking care of our building and keeping it clean each day!***

 

 

  •   Menus for Breakfast and Lunch are now posted on the cafeteria page.  Smile  Breakast will be $1.65, and lunch will be $2.60.

  • Drop Off & Dismissal:  As we continue to adjust our procedures, we thank you for your patience.  Please assist us with these times in the following ways:

    In the morning, as soon as the SINGLE line stops beside the sidewalk, please allow your children to exit the vehicle. Adults will be present to help monitor and assist, but if we wait to unload until we reach the front of the line, we cannot get everyone into the building before school begins.

    In the afternoon, we are going to try a SINGLE line just as in the morning to see if we can load more quickly.  Again, this is all subject to change, and you have been wonderful to work with us.

    School Hours:

     

    • 7:15 - 2:15 for Grades 1-5  
    • 7:15 - 1:00 for Kindergarten.
    • Students are expected to be in their classrooms prior to the bell ringing at 7:15. 

     

    Car riders will be dropped off and picked up at the main entrance to the building.  Please follow the signs that indicate for cars, and safety is always of the utmost concern.  Buses will unload in a designated area.  Students will have the option of going directly to the cafeteria for Breakfast or going to the Gym to await dismissal by classes.

    Earliest arrival for students who are not in the Cub House program is 6:30A.M.
