We have been awarded a community foundation education grant.  This will enable   all students  the opportunity to work with clay this school year.

Online Art Gallery

We are now participating in an online art gallery.  You can go online to view your child's work by going to:


Type in "Portland Gateview Elementary" and then you can look for your child's grade, and then your child by first name and special code that was sent home.  

Go online  to see what they are up to in Art!

Additionally, parents may purchase items with students' artwork printed on them.  This is similar to the magnet fundraisers that have been done in the past.  A portion of proceeds from items purchased will come back to PGE to the art department. 

These items make great presents for Christmas and in order to have them in time you must purchase items before Dec. 14th.

Students in 5th grade are going to be working on perspective.  A fun site they can go to that allows them to create an imaginary city is below:
