What is a School-Home Compact?

A School–Parent Compact is a written agreement that families, students, and teachers develop together. It explains how PGE and our families will work together to make sure all students reach grade-level standards.

Family Engagement

(Activities to Build Partnership)

Gateview’s Title I program hosts FREE family events throughout the year. Students, families, and teachers can share in engaging learning experiences. These family engagement events enhance the collaborative, friendly culture of PGE. To get involved with planning family events, email Erin Braden.

  • August 28th: Back to School Night and Annual Meeting
  • September 15th: Student-Led Conferences
  • September 25th: Reading Under the Stars
  • October 30th: Boo Bash / Book Fair
  • March 3rd: Math Family Game Night

District Goals

Sumner County Schools commits to growing learners who are college and career ready through quality instruction, effective use of resources, building a collaborative culture, and strong leadership.

  • Sumner County Schools will increase ELA proficiency on TCAP in grades 3–5 by Spring 2026.
  • Sumner County Schools will increase Math proficiency on TCAP in grades 3–5 by Spring 2026.
